An Ottoman defensive tower, in Arna of Laconia. It was one of those built by the Turks in the region of Bardounochoria in their effort to contain the Maniotes in the late 18th century. The region borders the territory of Mani which never capitulated to the Turks.
There are many similar Ottoman little forts in the region. This one belonged to the Aga Salich Dervoukos.
