A traditional tower-house of Mani with a history.
It is a multi-level construction of the end of 18th century following the traditional style of Mani and incorporating some medieval elements in its fortification which serve decoration preferences rather than defense purposes.
The tower is connected with the legendary hero of the Greek Revolution Theodoros Kolokotronis who took refuge there in 1806.
