A Turkish koule (small fort) at the coastline of the Sfakia region of Crete to the east of the small village Sougia. One of the many forts that the Ottomans built in the 19th century in an attempt to control the rebels of Crete and especially of the difficult region of Sfakia.
The fort has a rectangular layout 20x13m, with a cylindrical tower at the northeastern corner.
