Ruins of a tower northeast of the village of Triada in Evia, on a hill near the LARCO mine. The reference as a "tower" may be incorrect as they are the ruins of a building – if not buildings– of large dimensions that occupy a large area at the top of the hill.
The history and the chronology of the tower are unknown. It is certainly medieval and, possibly, either Frankish or Venetian like most towers of Euboea. Its medieval name is not known. The name “tower of Figai” comes from modern researchers who believe that this was the location of the ancient city Figai.
