Pissonas is a village in Evia in a region that used to be the center of poultry production in Greece.
The village is consisted of two settlements: the Ano Pissonas and Kato Pissonas. There two venetian towers in the village, one in each settlement.
The tower of this page is in better condition and is the one in Ano (Upper) Pissonas. It is named “Tower of Mostras” from the name of the last owner.

Approach to the monument: |
Fros Chalkis go north to Artaki and from there to Pissonas (16km from Chalkis). The tower is on the main road of the upper village ('Ano Pissonas'). |
