A tower in the monastery of Dormition of the Theotokos, also known as “Boura”, located on the up-country road from Leontari to Sparta, 4 km north of the village Falaisia. The old name of Falaisia was Boura. The whole area was the location of the ancient Falaisia.
The monastery was built probably in the middle of the 12th century. A tower must have been existed there since from the beginning, but it must have been reconstructed many times.
