The 3-storey tower-house of Leventaina is at the western slope of the hill of the castle of Karytaina. It is a typical example of a fortified mansion of the post-Byzantine (aka Turkish) period.
It is dated back to the late 18th century.
The tower was in bad condition until the mid 2010s but recently it has been restored.
