Ruins of a tower outside the village Vasilika, near the road from Thessaloniki to Polygyros in Chalkidiki.
The tower belongs to the early Ottoman period. Very close to it are the ruins of an Ottoman bath, one of the few examples of a building of this type in Greece.

Approach to the monument: |
Take the old NR from Thessaloniki to Polygyros. At the 25th km, after Raidestos and before Vasilika, the tower is at the left. A not so visible dirt road will take you near the tower (follow the red sign «Σαγματοποιείον»). |
