A cave-fort on a steep rocky elevation at the NE side of lake Kaiafas in Zacaharo region, in Elis.

The wall protects the opening of the cave and it measures 5m in height and 4m in width. It is constructed of semi-processed stones and mortar. The entrance is at the lowest point. In the interior there is a space 2✖3m immediately after the entrance and, above it, a small cave about 10m long. 3 rifle-slits are preserved on the wall.

The history of this little fortification is unknown and the chronology is uncertain. The technique indicates that the construction belongs to the Turkish period. It was probably used as a refuge and/or as a den of kleftes.
