Acropolis of Panopeas is one of the best preserved ancient fortresses in Greece.
Normally, ancient sites are not included in "Kastrologos", but in Panopeas, at the highest point of the acropolis, there is also a medieval tower, probably of Frankish origin.
The dimensions of the tower are 7.0x7.0m and the thickness of the walls 1.40m. Its height today is only 2.60 m.
