A Frankish tower built at the location of the acropolis of ancient Amfiklia.
Structure, Fortification & Buildings
The tower measures 8.50 m✖10.50 m, wall thickness 1.45 m and surviving height 8 meters.
Well-laid reused ancient stone blocks (from the classical acropolis) form the first six courses of masonry, up to 3m (roughly the first floor). A fine doorway survives with sockets for a closing bar.
