Southeast from Oropos and the village of Holy Apostles is a low conical hill between the road and the coast are the ruins of this tower.
It is circular with a diameter of 3.5 meters and wall thickness of 0.80-0.90 m. The amount of precipitated material on the inside and surrounding shows that it was not very high. The original height should have been around 4 m.
Probably it was a watchtower (vigla) of Frankish origin (from the 13th or 14th century).
A few kilometers to the south, at a similar position, there is another circular tower, a little smaller.
