Emporios is a village in Nisyros, an island of the Dodecanese.
On the hill above the village there are the ruins of an Ioannite castle. Inside the castle there is the church of Taxiarches Michael with icons from the 13th century.
The Knights of the Order of St John became rulers of the island in 1315. The castle was created probably a little later within the 14th century, as it is reported by the Italian traveller Martoni in 1394 and again in 1420 by Buondelmonti.
