The tower was built on a rocky hill at the center of the village. It is a two-storied building with walls 1m thick. In two opposite corners, there are two cylindrical towers which give to the mansion a very particular style.

History

The tower was built in the 1810s by the local Ottoman landlord, the notorious Ibrahim Aga. In 1831, after the establishment of the new Greek state, the aga sold his tsiflik to Greek landowners who in 1833 sold the tower to Constantine Petrokokkinos, maternal grand father of Georgios Drosinis (1859-1952) a well-known Greek poet and writer, who between 1876 and 1882, in his youth, spent some summers in the tower.

Around 1882 the tower was bought by the local priest and after him it was used by his descendants. In the last decades it was abandoned, but it has been renovated by the local municipality in 2015 and today houses a small folk-art museum.
