On a rock above the village of Oktonia in central-eastern Evia there are the remains of a castle.
It is also called the castle of the "Big Cave" because of a cave nearby at the northeastern side of the rock (there are plenty of caves in the area).
Basically, it was an ancient castle that was also used in the Middle Ages by the Byzantines and the Venetians.
