Kalamos is a small inhabited island of the Ionian sea, southeast of Lefkas island.
There are two village in the island: Kalamos, the port, on the east coast and Episkopi at the west. The castle is very close to Episkopi.
History
It is a Venetian castle but it is not known when exactly it was built. Probably in the 13th or the 14th century.
