Remains of a small Ottoman fort on the slope of the mountain above the fishing port of Loutro at the south coast of Crete. The fort has been modified to allow the construction of the church of Agia Aikaterini next to it.
It was builtin 1868. Its small size and its location indicate that its main role was rather the surveillance of the Libyan sea and the notification of the main fort of Loutro.
