Remains of a byzantine castle on a rocky hill by the sea on the NE coast of Kythira, above the bay of Agia Patrikia and north of the port of Agia Pelagia.
It was one of the forts that the Byzantines built to control the sea passage of cape Maleas. The findings indicate that the fort was in use between the 8th and the 12th century.
