Remains of a medieval fortification on cape Likythos, which is a rocky peninsula at the south end of the Toroni beach of Chalkidiki.
During the classical period, one of the two citadels of ancient Toroni was on Likythos. Later, in the Byzantine period, a strong castle was built there, mostly of the materials of the ancient acropolis.
The castle and the settlement around it were destroyed in the 15th or 16th century.
Only a few ruins remain today: part of the walls, and the remains of a church with a double wate-rtank underneath.
