Kritsa is a village 10 km west of Agios Nicolaos and is famous for the excellent quality of its olive oil.

Inside the village, at the location Ambela, there are the ruins of a medieval tower with an arch.

Nothing more is known about this tower. It is probably Venetian from the 16th century.
