Remains of a tower, preserved at a height of about 5 meters, on the east side of the port of Alopronoia in Sikinos.
We know absolutely nothing about this tower other than the fact that the Archaeological Bulletin (issue 29) describes it as “tower of the Frankokratia”.
It must therefore have been built between the 13th and 15th centuries, a period when Sikinos was mostly under the control of various local lords under the rule of Venice. We will characterize him as Venetian.
